A Note From Joe:
Talent is a dull knife
There is no such thing as talent, talent is nothing more than a passion and pursued interest. It's like a relationship, the more you put in, the more you get out. The less you put in the less you get out.
Contrary to popular belief, the most passionate musicians are not the ones that enjoy longevity. It’s the ones with the best work ethic. In French, rehearsal translates into “repetition”. If you want to be a musician you have to play music as often as possible and in as many different places as possible. It is impossible to do a gig and not improve, 6 nights a week in front of audiences from all over the world and all ages. With this level of constant training and feed back, your transformation is guaranteed, but you have to want it.
Live music is timeless
I firmly believe that music is humanity’s greatest gift and live music in particular is the best way to experience it.
